Lavender Cleansing Oil

The Lavender Cleansing Oil is another special treat from the farm! We hand-harvested lavender plants at just the right moment in summer to harness all of their potent medicine for this cleansing oil.

The lavender plant has so much to offer, not just in the flowers but also in the stems and leaves! Fresh cuttings of lavender were hand-harvested and infused into organic jojoba oil for six weeks. After the plant matter is strained out we are left with a slightly green and sweet smelling cleansing oil. Be advised, this does not smell like your typical lavender product because it does not contain distilled lavender essential oil. Around here we agree it smells a bit like cake batter! 

Lavender is known to be simultaneously uplifting and calming. It helps to calm muscles, reduce inflammation and increase your skin's own ability to heal. 

Some say that lavender can help you feel safe to express yourself honestly and move through the world as you truly are. What a perfect addition to a cleansing oil! Cleanse away whatever you picked up from the day and rest in your truest self.

Oil Cleansing Ritual: Apply 1-2 pumps of cleansing oil onto dry face and neck. Massage for a few minutes and enjoy the lovely sweet scent. Wet a washcloth with warm (not hot) water and ring out. Use the cloth to remove the oil. Follow with facial mist and facial oil.
